This is an exploration of the Traditional Music, Storytelling and Dance of a typical African Village. Through “call-and-response” songs, games, rhythms, and the employment of authentic instruments, the performers explore the rich heritage of Africa.
Anansegromma has appeared at The Smithsonian Folklife Festival, The National Zoo, Artscape ’98/ Baltimore, and the Virgin Islands Folklife Festival.
